TIKU WEDS SHERU OPEN TO MIXED REVIEWS FROM NETIZENS

Kangana Ranaut, who has ventured into a new path with the film along with the film leads, left no stone unturned to promote their film. And now, as the early reviews for the film have poured in, let's take a glance at what the Twitterati have to say...

A user wrote, "#TikuWedsSheru Nawazuddin reminds us once again that he's unparelled, and Avneet Kaur does so well it's hard to believe she's a debutante. Signature Sai Kabir dark humor, grime and greed, minus the confusing narrative of Revolver Rani. Not bad for a first,
@ManikarnikaFP!"

Another user commented, "#TikuWedsSheru boring, left the movie in the middle."

"What a pathetic movie A senseless movie with zero emotions felt avneet kaur could have started better. 😌 #TikuWedsSheru," wrote another.

ABOUT TIKU WEDS SHERU

Meanwhile, talking about the film during the trailer launch, Kangana Ranaut revealed that 'Tiku Weds Sheru' holds a very special place in her heart. The film was set to launch with her and the late actor Irrfan Khan.

Back then, the film was titled 'Divine Lovers'. However, due to a series of unfortunate events, the film was delayed for a long time. She revealed that Sai Kabir, who was to direct to film fell sick. He only returned to the project after 3-4 years and by the time the movie was ready to go on floors, we had lost Irrfan Khan.

''We had already lost Irrfan saab, and that demotivated us, the second problem was that we needed the Kangana of 10 years ago, the Kangana who had the dream of big city in her eyes, the Kangana who was hoping to be a part of Bollywood. I also said 'Let it be Kabir, this is not going to work now'', TOI quoted Kangana as saying during the trailer launch.
