So, coming 2025, we would meet each other for one last time. Until time deems right. Last 2 movies and many a years of memories. Thank you again. For everything and everything in between. Forever indebted. (sic)"

While actor Harshvardhan Rane claimed it might be a PR stunt, a director alleged that Vikrant probably didn't want to "spread himself too thin". While many speculated that it might a strategic move to 'reinvent' himself for his possible antagonist's role in Don 3.

Clarifying his post, the actor stated that he is NOT quitting acting but is taking a 'break' from it. "I am not retiring... Just burned out. Need a long break. Miss home and health are also acting up... People misread it, (sic)" the 37-year-old actor was quoted saying.
