Toxic (Hindi) Release Update: Yash-Kiara’s Film Release Postponed To June 2026; Here’s Real Reason For Delay

Toxic (Hindi) Release Postponed: Yash, who has become a household name with the massive success of his movies KGF Chapter 1 and Chapter 2, has been all over the headlines for his upcoming release Toxic. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic is a period gangster film which also features Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, and Rukmini Vasanth. Interestingly, Toxic is jointly written and produced by Yash who is also seen in a double role in the movie. Needless to say, Toxic has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year.

Marking Yash's first collaboration with Kiara, fans have been quite excited to see their fresh chemistry in Toxic. And while the teaser had got everyone excited, looks like the fans will have to wait for a little longer to witness Yash's magic on the big screen. The movie, which was scheduled to hit the screens on March 19 and was supposed to have a clash with Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar: The Revenge, has now been postponed

Toxic (Hindi) Postponed Real Reason

To note, the makers of Toxic have decided to postpone the release of the movie in all languages including Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam, in wake of the ongoing US-Iran war and the tension in the middle east. Sharing an official statement, the makers revealed, "Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups is a film we conceptualized with the vision to create cinema for a global audience. Filmed in Kannada and English, it is built with the conviction to connect with viewers both at home and across the world. After years of dedicated labour, we were excited to share our film with you all on the 19th of March. However, the current uncertainty, especially in the Middle East, has created a situation that impacts our goal to reach and connect with the widest possible audience. Therefore, in the interest of our partners and our audience, we have made the difficult but carefully considered decision to reschedule our release".

Toxic (Hindi) New Release Date

Wondering when will the Hindi version of Toxic Release? Well, this Yash starrer will now globally release on June 4, 2026.

Meanwhile, veteran film producer Dr. G. Dhananjayan believes Toxic has already made close to Rs 600 crore from pre-release business alone. Speaking on his show Cinema Strategist, Dhananjayan said, "They've made almost Rs 600 crore just from pre-business. You've got Nayanthara, then Rukmini Vasanth, then Tovino Thomas from Malayalam, then Amit Karval. Nayanthara has already come and gained some popularity from the movie Jawan. Everyone knows about Rukmini Vasanth after the Kantara chapter". He further emphasised that while every major market has a familiar face to connect with in Toxic, it is a genuine pan-India film.
