Nikosh Chhaya OTT Release Date: The Bengali online streaming platform Hoichoi recently released its thrilling release-slate, consisting an array of exciting web series and shows. Out of them, Parambrata Chattopadhyay's upcoming Hoichoi original series 'Nikosh Chhaya' has been creating a lot of waves ahead of its release. The trailer of the mythological thriller show, which dropped earlier this week, piqued everyone's interest, promising a gripping tale packed with suspense, thrill and horror. The show marks Parambrata's return to director's chair.

Directed by multi-faceted Parambrata Chattopadhyay, 'Nikosh Chhaya' (Shadows from the dark) - the much-awaited second part of the Bhaduri Moshai saga - boasts a power-packed and dynamic ensemble including names like Chiranjeet Chakrabarti, Gaurav Chakrabarty,, Surangana Bandyopadhyay, Anindita Bose, Arna Mukhopadhyay, and Anujoy Chattopadhyay among others.

Based on Souvik Chakraborty's story, the plot of 'Nikosh Chhaya' follows Parambrata's 2023 series 'Parnashavarir Shaap'. In Nikosh Chhaya, veteran actor Chiranjeet has reprised his role as 'Niren Bhaduri' (Bhaduri Moshai), an expert of the eerie world of supernaturalism.

The official logline of the series reads, "Bhaduri Moshai returns this Bhoot Chaturdashi with yet another spine-chilling chapter from the lores of myth, mythology and occult, in Nikosh Chhaya."

Talking about the series, Parambrata told t2Online, "Horror is one of my favourite genres and despite having the greatest horror stories and novels in Bengali, it's a genre hardly explored by our Bengali film industry. I love to believe that there's another world of unearthly beings that exist parallelly to us. I like being scared of the unknown, it's like unboxing my cascading imagination, and I've translated the same in Nikosh Chhaya."
