Tekka (Bengali) OTT Release Date, Platform Updates: Bengali film industry is having a gala time with two Bengali Durga Pujo releases - one of the two is 'Tekka' - running successfully at the box office. Directed by Srijit Mukherji (who has Hindi films namely 'Begum Jaan', 'Shabaash Mithu', and 'Sherdil: The Pilibhit Saga' under his credit), 'Tekka' is a Bengali-language vigilante action-thriller film that stars Bengali superstar-turned-politician Dev in the lead. Amid much buzz, the film hit cinemas on October 8 and opened to positive reviews from the fans and critics alike.

Starring Dev as a poor janitor named Iqlakh Alam aka 'Jack', Tekka also features Rukmini Maitra as ACP Maya, Swastika Mukhopadhyay as Iqlakh's elder sister-in-law, Paran Bandopadhyay as the MLA and industrialist along with Tota Roy Chowdhury, Kamaleshwar Mukherjee and Sudeshna Roy among others in pivotal roles.

The official logline of the film reads, "Tekka is the story of Iqlakh, a janitor who has lost his job and is out to get it back by holding a girl hostage in a building. ACP Maya comes in, a woman who is trying to conceive. Add to the mix a young journalist pair, Brishti and Tintin, and we have a nail-biting epic in an office building spanning 48 hrs, full of twists and turns."

Tekka (Bengali Movie) OTT Release Date, Platform Updates: When & Where To Watch Dev-Rukmini's Film Online?

As per reports, the post-theatrical digital rights of Dev-Rukmini starrer 'Tekka' have been acquired by Hoichoi. Yes, the film will have its OTT premiere on the said streaming platform. While the official OTT release date of the movie is yet to be announced, it is expected Tekka will be available on Hoichoi roughly after 45-60 days after its theatrical run. However, there is no official confirmation yet.
