84 year old actress Estelle Getty who is famours for her role as Sophia Petrillo in The Golden Girls bteathed her last breath yesterday. She gave up the ghost in her home in Hollywood Boulevard. She was a victim of advanced demetia. Her son Carl Gettleman made the announcement. She bagged the role in The Golden Girls when she was in her 62nd year. She is well known to people not familiar with her show for her role as Sylvester Stallone's film Stop or My Mom Will Shoot.
