LAPD investigating Brittany Murphy's death

New York (ANI): The LAPD investigating actress Brittany Murphy's death has not ruled out the possibility of drug overdose as the cause. They are at present waiting for the toxicology and neurological reports, which could take approximately six weeks.

“We are keeping the investigation open until the toxicology reports are available in five to six weeks," the New York Post quoted a senior LAPD source privy to the investigation as telling RadarOnline.com.

The 'Clueless" star"s mother had found her lying unconscious in a bathroom in her LA home. The paramedics later confirmed that she had died of a heart attack.
