Ex-cop Abdul Azeem enters films

Ex-police officer and politician Abdul Azeem is making his acting debut with Nishedajne starring Adi Lokesh and Priyanka in the lead. He was earlier offered a role in Ravi Srivatsa"s Deadly Soma, but had rejected the offer.

"This new film deals with communal harmony and I sincerely wanted to express my concerns about communal harmony. That"s what made me accept this role," says Abdul Azeem.

He was speaking to mediapersons during the launch of the new film. "I have only the desire of becoming a Home Minister. I have been the best investigating officer. I have been an honest officer while in service and even after entering politics,I have always been an honest man. I am not taking any remuneration for this film," added Abdul Azeem.
