Dr.Vishnu the most popular star

A poll conducted by the popular English Channel CNN IBN has revealed that Superstar Dr. Vishnuvardhan is the most popular star in the Kannada film industry. Dr. Vishnuvardhan got 52 percent of the votes, while Golden Star Ganesh got 48 percent votes.

The poll was conducted very recently.

Similar polls were conducted to determine the most popular star in the Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam film industries. In a close contest, Mammootty who got 51 percent of popular votes managed to win the popular star tag ahead of Mohanlal who got 49 percent of votes. In case of Tamil and Telugu films, it was Rajinikanth and Chiranjeevi, who ruled supreme marching ahead of their competitors like Kamal Hassan and Nagarjuna.
