Kundara Johny Passed Away: Malayalam Actor Kundara Johny has sadly passed away at the age of 71 due to heart failure. He was admitted to the hospital after experiencing chest pain, but despite medical efforts, his life couldn't be saved.

Kundara Johny, a well-known actor with a filmography spanning over 100 movies, was last seen in the Unni Mukundan-starrer "Meppadiyan." Notably, his portrayal of the character Parameshwaran in "Kireedam" and its sequel, "Chenkol," alongside Mohanlal, garnered widespread acclaim.

Kundara Johny: A Brief Journey Through Life and Cinema

Known by his stage name Kundara Johny, Johny Joseph is a renowned actor in the Malayalam film industry. His talent has also graced Tamil cinema with notable appearances in films like "Vaazhkai Chakram" and "Nadigan."

Johny hailed from Kundara in Kollam district and was born to Joseph and Catherine. He pursued his education at Kollam's Fatima Mata College and Sri Narayana College, where he even captained the Kollam district football team during his college years.

He began his acting journey in 1979 with 'Nithya Vasantham,' followed by A. B. Raj's 'Kazhukan' and Chandrakumar's 'Agni Parvatham. Over time, Kundara Johny transitioned into becoming one of the prominent antagonists in Malayalam cinema, featuring in numerous hit movies, including "Karimbana," "Rajneegandhi," "Aaraam Thampuran," "Godfather," and many more. His acting prowess also extended to Telugu and Kannada cinema.

In his personal life, he was married to Stella, a Hindi professor at Fatima Mata National College, Kollam.
