Shobana rubbishes marriage rumours

National award winning actress Shobana has denied rumours that she has married secretly. A leading Mumbai newspaper had reported that the actress was married to her boyfriend. The actress stated that there was no need for her to get married secretly; whenever she gets married, she will be inviting everyone, including the media.

The well-known Bharatanatyam dancer made her entry into films as a lead actor with the Malayalam movie, April 18. Her film with Mohanlal and Suresh Gopi, Manichitrathazhu, bagged her first National award for best actress. She was presented with her second National award for her role in Mitr, My Friend.
