Winners list for Asianet Television Awards 2013

Kottayam: Popular Malayalam TV series Kungumapoo has swept the Asianet Television Awards 2013. The TV series has bagged three coveted awards like best actor, actress and script writer. The awards were distributed at a dazzling function at the Nehru Stadium in Kottayam and 20,000 viewers were present on the occasion. Asianet Managing Director K Madhavan, who was present at the event, seemed to be overjoyed.

Sthreedhanam was adjudged the Best Serial, while Krishnamoorthy walked away with the Best Director title for the same serial. Actor Sajan Suirya was credited as the Best Actor award for his role in Kungumapoo. The Best Female Actress award was shared by Shelly & Divya for their brilliant performances in Kungumapoo and Sthreedhanam, respectively.

Many personalities from the Malayalam film industry and socio-cultural spheres attended the function of the Asianet Television Awards 2013. Stars like Jayaram, Manoj K Jayan, Ashokan, Suresh Krishna, Jishnu, Surekha, Akku Akbar, Mahesh, Sankar Ramakrishnan, Sona Nair, Bhagyalakshmi, GK Pillai, Kottayam Nazeer, Ranjan Pramod and Raveendran made it to the occasion.
