FINALLY! Mammootty's White Release Date Is Confirmed

White, the upcoming Mammootty starring love story has finally got a release date. In the recent interview given to SouthLive website, director Uday Ananthan announced the release date of the movie.

The movie, which stars Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi in the female lead, will hit the theatres on July 29th. According to director Uday, the release was postponed due to the delay in post-production works.

Reportedly, White depicts the story of a middle-aged banker named Prakash Roy, who falls in love with the much-younger Roshni Menon. Mammootty and Huma depict Prakash and Roshini, respectively.

The release of White was postponed three times, earlier. The movie was actually expected to hit the theatres for Vishu. But, the team decided to postpone the release multiple times citing technical issues.

It was reported that the crew is highly particular about releasing White during a safe season, as Mammootty's last release Puthiya Niyamam was an average grosser, despite receiving positive reviews.

The movie is jointly scripted by Uday Ananthan, Nandini Valsan, and Praveen Balakrishnan. Amarjit Sing handles is the director of photography. White is produced by the popular banner, Eros International.
