Kerala Assembly Election 2026 LIVE Celebrity Voters Updates

According to official figures, around 2.71 crore voters are eligible to cast their ballots this time. Voting is being conducted in 30,495 polling booths set up across the state. Compared to the previous Lok Sabha election, authorities have increased the number of booths by around 5,000 to manage voter flow more efficiently. Each booth has been designed to accommodate a maximum of 1,200 voters.

Polling officially began at 7 a.m. and is scheduled to continue until 6 p.m. However, in several locations, voters were seen arriving well before the start time, with queues forming as early as 6 a.m. The early turnout indicated a steady start to the day, with election officials monitoring arrangements to ensure smooth conduct.

This election follows nearly three weeks of campaigning, during which 883 candidates campaigned across constituencies. The campaign period witnessed a range of political activities, culminating in polling day where voters now have the final say.

Among the notable early voters were prominent public figures from the film and political spheres. In the Nemom constituency, Mohanlal arrived at the Mudavanmugal School to cast his vote at Booth No. 36.

Union Minister Suresh Gopi also exercised his franchise early in the day. He voted at Booth No. 137 set up at the Guruvayur Devaswom English Medium School.

As the day progresses, more updates are expected from across districts, including voter turnout trends, participation of other public figures, and reports from key constituencies. Follow this space for live updates on celebrities casting their votes.
