Actor Hari Murali's Death: The death of Malayalam actor Hari Murali, who began his career as a child artiste in films and television serials, has come as a shock to members of the Malayalam film and television industry. The 27-year-old actor was found dead at his residence in Annur, Payyannur. Authorities and family members have confirmed the death, though details about the circumstances remain unclear.

Hari Murali was the son of theatre and film actor K.U. Murali, widely known as Payyannur Murali, and Prasanna. He is also survived by his brother Sreemurali. Following the discovery of his body at the family home, the remains were shifted to a private hospital in Payyannur for further procedures.

Hari had entered the entertainment industry at a very young age. His introduction to acting reportedly came through television serials, when he was only about four and a half years old. Director A.M. Nazeer is said to have offered him a small role in a serial, marking the beginning of his association with the screen.

He soon appeared in films as a child artiste, with "Rasikan" being among his earliest projects. His appearance in the film drew attention at the time and led to more opportunities in Malayalam cinema. Over the following years, Hari featured in several films including "Annan Thambi," "Madampi," "Don," "Pattanathil Bhootham," and "Ulakam Chuttum Valiban." In addition to films, he also acted in numerous television serials, reportedly appearing in nearly forty productions, such as "Kuttichathan" and "Kayamkulam Kochunni."

Despite early visibility in the entertainment industry, Hari gradually stepped away from acting as he grew older. He focused on his studies and later pursued BSc in Visual Effects and Animation in Bengaluru. After completing his course, he worked as a graphic designer in Ernakulam, remaining connected to cinema in a technical capacity through the visual effects field.

Years after reducing his acting commitments, Hari made a brief on-screen appearance again with a small role in the Malayalam film "Amar Akbar Anthony." However, his professional life in recent years was largely centered around design and digital visual work.

According to a report by Manorama Online, Hari Murali had been seen in his hometown only a few days before his death, including during a local Theyyam event where several people had reportedly interacted with him. Although Payyannur was his native place, he and his family had been living in Kochi for a long time. The report noted that he had recently travelled to Payyannur to attend a family wedding. Citing people close to him, the report also stated that Hari had been going through a period of severe depression in recent times. It further mentioned that his social media accounts had been deactivated during this period.
