Vaazha 2 Box Office Collection: The Malayalam film Vaazha 2: Biopic of a Billion Bros, featuring Hashir H, Alan Bin Siraj, Ajin Joy, and Vinayak V in lead roles, has completed four days at the box office and entered Day 5 (Monday, April 6) with a consistent upward trend. Released on April 2, 2026, the sequel to the 2024 film Vaazha: Biopic of a Billion Boys has shown gradual growth over its opening weekend.

Vaazha 2 Day 4 Box Office Crosses 25 Cr India Net

According to data from box office tracking platform Sacnilk, the film recorded its highest single-day collection so far on Day 4 (Sunday), earning approximately ₹8.40 crore net in India. The film was screened across 1,838 shows on Sunday, with reported occupancy rising to around 85%, indicating increased footfall compared to earlier days.

With this, the total India net collection after four days stands at ₹25.60 crore, while the India gross is estimated at ₹29.70 crore. Overseas, the film has also contributed significantly, collecting ₹10 crore on Day 4 alone and taking the total overseas gross to ₹33.25 crore. The combined worldwide gross collection has reached approximately ₹62.95 crore by the end of its fourth day.

The film opened with ₹4.75 crore on Thursday, followed by ₹5.25 crore on Friday. Collections saw a notable jump on Saturday with ₹7.20 crore, before peaking on Sunday. The steady increase over the weekend suggests that the film benefited from positive word-of-mouth and weekend audience turnout.

Vaazha 2 Plot, Cast, And Weekday Box Office Test

Directed by Savin SA and written by Vipin Das, Vaazha 2 focuses on a group of four friends, Hashir, Alan, Ajin, and Vinayak, who are often labelled as underachievers by those around them. The story follows their transition into adulthood and their attempts to navigate expectations, responsibility, and personal growth.

The supporting cast includes Veda Shankar, Alphonse Puthren, Aju Varghese, Vijay Babu, Bijukuttan, and Sudheesh. The film blends elements of comedy, drama, and coming-of-age storytelling, set against a familiar social backdrop.

As the film moves into the weekday phase, the Monday (Day 5) collections will be crucial in determining its hold after the weekend surge. A typical drop is expected on working days; however, the extent of the decline will offer a clearer picture of its box office trajectory in the coming week.

With a strong opening weekend behind it, Vaazha 2 now faces the test of sustaining momentum during weekdays, which often plays a decisive role in the overall theatrical run of films.
