Lady Gaga's arrival makes photographer fall to death

Celebrity photographer AJ Sokalner suffered a massive heart attack and died at the ACE Awards Gala held Tuesday after he saw popstar Lady Gaga donning a black lace-up headpiece (widow-esque black veil) at NYC"s Cipriani 42nd Street, where she was being honored with the Stylemaker Award.

According to sources, the photographer was standing on a ladder at the event and Gaga"s arrival made him pass out and fall to his death. Immediately, he was rushed to Bellevue Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. However, the owner of ACE Pictures, who Sokalner worked for, said that he had suffered a heart attack. He was in his late 50s.

"According to a fellow photographer who was on the scene when the accident happened, the gang was packing up and ready to leave when the man fell and hit his head on the concrete. The photographer said he had prior medical issues and Lady Gaga was already inside," reports OK! Magazine.
