Teri Meri Doriyaann update: Himanshi Parashar and Vijayendra Kumeria starrer Teri Meri Dooriyaann has remained in the headlines ever since rumours about the show going off air surfaced on the internet. Considering the drop in TRPs, the makers have decided to revamp the show by changing the track.

In a major development, Sahiba's character was bumped off from the daily soap. While Himanshi Parashar bid adieu to Sahiba, she is currently seen in a different avatar in Teri Meri Doriyaan serial. The actress is playing the role of Gurnoor after the makers introduced a new twist in the storyline.

She expressed her happiness on playing the role of Sahiba for a year, calling it a 'beautiful journey'. When asked about the decision to kill her character, Himanshi said that 'everything on television depends on the viewership'. It doesn't take a minute for tracks to change in daily soaps as 'it is the nature of the business', she pointed out.

HIMANSHI PARASHAR ON BEING LINKED WITH KARAN MEHRA

Himanshi Parashar also addressed the rumours of a link-up with Karan MehrA. The TV diva refuted the rumours, calling them 'baseless' and 'weird'. She maintained that she and Karan Mehra worked together in a Punjabi TV show and have known each other since then.

Himanshi revealed that Karan apologised to her after the controversy after his wife Nisha Rawal accused him of domestic violence and engaging in an extra-marital affair with her. The actress, while interacting with a portal said that her name was not directly mentioned but people believed something was brewing between her and Karan as they acted together in a show.

"My name was not directly taken, but people assumed that since we were co-actors there was something brewing between us," she told ETimes.
