Vijaykant's forthcoming venture is Dharmapuri. A.M. Rathnam is producing this movie under the banner Sri Surya Movies. The film's sound track is by Srikanth Deva.

Lakshmi Rai is playing the female lead role. Director Perarasu of Thirupachi, Sivakasi, and Thirupathi fame is directing this movie.

The audio of Dharmapuri is going to be launched today, (October 10th, 2006).
