Black flag protest against Asin Thottumkal

Periyar Dravidar Kazhagam (PDK) activists demonstrated a black flag protest against actress Asin at Mettupalayam on Sunday. The incident happened when the actress arrived for the shoot of Vijay's Kaavalan. Later, four among them were arrested.

Large number of PDK activists were demonstrating against Asin for her visit to Sri Lanka for the shoot of Salman Khan"s Ready. However, the PDK spokesperson said that they protested against Asin for her 'anti-tamil' stand by violating the ban imposed by Nadigar Sangam and other film organisations during the time of FIFA.

PDK spokeperson says, "Asin enjoyed the company of anti-Tamil Sinhala politicians, including the country's first lady Shiranthi Rajapaksa", a reference to her travelling in an army chopper with the Shranthi.
