Mani Ratnam's wife to direct Aishwarya

Mani Ratnam and Amitabh Bachchan's relationship might have soured of late. But it seems, it has not affected their family. Now, the latest buzz is that Mani's wife Suhasini Ratnam is planning to direct a film, where she is in talks with Aishwarya Bachchan to cast her in the lead role.

Aishwarya made her debut in Mani Ratnam's Iruvar. She has also worked with Mani in Guru and recent release Raavanan a.k.a Ravan. In both the films she shared a screen space with her hubby Abhishek Bachchan, whereas for Tamil version, Raavanan she paired with Vikram.

However, Suhasini-Aishwarya's bondage started getting stronger with Raavanan, where Suhasini has written the dialogues for the film. It was Suhasini, who helped Aish in dialogue modulation and helping her to understand Tamil.
