Prakash Raj to release Mayilu during Christmas

Prakash Raj's long awaited film Mayilu is ready to hit the theaters next month. If reports are anything to go by, the South Indian audience will be able to enjoy the film during Christmas.

The producer confirms that he has pinned his hopes on the film, which may well come across as a different film in the history of Tamil cinema. Mayilu has been shot in the Usilmapatti village and though the shooting has been completed in October , it was the post-production work that took more than a month.

Mayilu stars Shri and Shammu in the lead roles has music by renowned composer Ilaiyaraaja. The movie is directed by Jeevan and produced by Prakash Raj on the banner Duet Movies.
