Dhanush's 3 does good business at Box Office in first weekend

Despite getting unfavourable response from the audience, Dhanush's much-hyped 3 managed to pull the crowd to the theatres in the opening week. As a result, the film has done good business at the Tamil Box Office in its first weekend.

The movie, 3 has reportedly grossed approximately Rs 10 crore in its first weekend. On an average, the film has raked in Rs 3.3 crore in three days. Multiplexes witnessed more occupancy than single screens, adds a report.

As the word-of-mouth is not good for 3, the collections are expected to dramatically come down in the coming days. Dhanush and Shruti Hassan starrer film, directed by Aishwarya Dhanush, is an intense-romantic drama, which is primarily targeted at urban audience.
