Mugamoodi rocks at Box office on day one

Jeeva's superhero flick Mugamoodi, which has opened up to mixed response from audience and critics, has got a flying start at the Tamil Box Office. It got a massive opening not only in Tamil Nadu but also in other countries.

According to a source, "Mugamoodi has got an overwhelming response from the audience on the release day. In cities like Chennai, Coimbatore, it almost ran into packed houses and the response from the other regions is also good. On an average, the movie witnessed around 80% occupancy on the opening day."

Mugamoodi has done amazing business on the release day in many countries like Malaysia. "The response in other countries and states are also good," concludes the source. The movie was released worldwide on Friday (August 31) in different versions in around 750-800 screens.

The movie is directed by Mysskin and produced by UTV Motion Pictures. It stars Jeeva, Pooja Hegde and Narain in the lead roles.
