Leo Box Office Collection Day 20: Thalapathy Vijay’s Film To Cross 600Cr Ahead Of Diwali; Creates History

Thalapathy Vijay has all the reasons to grin from ear to ear and rightfully so. After the success of Varisu, his recent release Leo has been doing wonders at the box office since the first day. Helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the action thriller was released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Kannada languages and has been enjoying a phenomenal run. Though Leo had opened to average reviews from the audience, it has maintaining a strong hold at the box office.

Interestingly, the movie had managed to cross Rs 500 crore mark at the worldwide box office within six days of release. And while Leo has been creating new milestones at the box office, it is reportedly set to create a new record in the coming days. Yes! Leo is set to continue its winning streak at the worldwide box office.

According to a recent update, Leo is set to cross Rs 600 crore at the worldwide box office. Interestingly, Leo will be creating history in the coming days as it will help become Thalapathy Vijay the second Tamil actor to have a movie in the prestigious Rs 600 crore club. Earlier, Rajinikanth starrer Jailer had managed to make it to the coveted club early this year.

On the other hand, Leo is inching towards Rs 335 crores at the Indian box office. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Leo will be seen earning Rs 1.1 crores today (day 20/third Tuesday) at the box office which will take the overall collection of the movie to Rs 332.2 crores. If the reports turned out to be true, Leo has failed to beat Rajinikanth's Jailer with a huge gap. For the uninitiated, Jailer had minted Rs 3.45 crores on its day 20 (third Tuesday).

Meanwhile, Leo is all set to premiere on OTT platform in 10 days now. According to a report published in India.Com, Leo which was set to release on Netflix on November 21, has now been preponed for release. Reportedly, it will now be premiering on Nover 16. However, no official announcement has been made in this regard so far.
