Actress Sunainaa is all over the headlines of the entertainment portals today (July 1) for her engagement news. The actress is said to have said yes to Khalid Al Ameri, a Dubai Youtuber, who is a divorcee.

The actress posted a picture of her hand with her partner's and shared it on her social media handles with a 'lock' emoticon, indicating that she has been locked with her partner forever. Meanwhile, a few days ago, Khalid Al Ameri also posted a picture of his hand with his partner's flaunting engagement rings. The picture looks the same but with a different perspective. Given Khalid's frequent visits to Chennai and the rumours over a period of time, netizens and insiders have concluded that the duo indeed got engaged.

Sunainaa who was born in Nagpur and brought up in Hyderabad rose to popularity by portraying female lead characters in many Tamil films. She also acted in a couple of Telugu films. She made her first screen presence in Kumar Vs Kumari, which was released in 2005. She then played a couple of side-kick roles before making her acting debut in Tamil, which dates back to 2008 with Kadhalil Vizhunthen, which starred Nakul, and 'Best Friends' in Malayalam in 2006.

Sunainaa then went on to act in several Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Telugu films but was more popular in Tamil and Telugu. She has tens of films to her credit. She was last seen in a web series titled 'Inspector Rishi,' in which she played the female protagonist.

Khalid Al Ameri is a Stanford graduate and 40 years old. He is a popular YouTuber along with his first wife Salama. They both enjoy a great deal of followers (in millions) on their social media handles and their divorce came through in February this year. Salama herself mentioned that they got legally divorced on February 14.
