After a very long wait, the Jana Nayagan leading man has finally broken his long standing silence over the issue. Thalapathy Vijay, spoke about the film's unfortunate delay, when recently addressed his fans and followers at the grand TVK event held at Ayyasamipatti of Thanjavur district in Tamil Nadu. The actor-politician used this opportunity to thank all the well-wishers who spoke for the film.

Vijay, who addressed the difficulties faced by the Jana Nayagan team, and the hurdles in the film's release, stated that all the issues began at the infamous Karur rally, which happened on September 27, 2026. The TVK chief thanked his fans and well-wishers, including the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin who come forward to support the film in this tough time, in his recent speech.

Interestingly, Thalapathy Vijay's reaction to the Jana Nayagan delay came out as a big surprise for most of the neutral audiences. It is mainly because they were clearly expecting Vijay to maintain a strong silence in his signature style over the issue. His decision to thank Chief Minister MK Stalin, who is clearly his arch rival in politics, has also surprised the fans and followers.

Jana Nayagan Delay: What Is The Current Status?

When it comes to Jana Nayagan, the censor board is clearly not in a mood to issue a certificate for the Thalapathy Vijay starrer, anytime soon. The revising committee appointed by CBFC has reportedly not even watched the film, yet. In that case, a final decision the issue will be made only by the end of March 2026, or in April 2026.
