Naina Gupta On Playing Savitri In Tose Nainaa Milaai Ke 2: Will Educate To Voice Out Against Dominance

Actor Naina Gupta who plays Savitri, a homemaker navigating emotional and societal challenges within her family in the television show Tose Nainaa Milaai Ke 2, says her role will educate audience to stand and voice out against dominance and false pride.

She says, "My story in the show is about a homemaker whose family has a low opinion of her and whose husband cheats on her. The audience will see her struggle to earn self-respect and her place in the family. Her journey in the show will still strongly inspire and educate the audience to not keep silence and be victim to dominance and false pride."

She continued, "While playing such an interesting character, I relate her honesty love and care for family. But I don't relate her silence against the cruelty happening with her. I understand in such situation victims may suffer from low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, and a diminished sense of self. But again one should not let them be a victim, they can anytime stand and voice for themselves."

She further highlights the emotional trauma many women face. "A woman often keeps everything aside for her family and children, yet she is underestimated-no matter how talented or educated she is. She is often blamed, but she still continues to spread love and maintain peace. I truly hope my story as Savitri influences the audience and makes them see the strength and silent struggles of homemakers," she stated.

Naina was last seen in Maana Ke Hum Yaar Nahi and also acted in other shows like Sankat Mochan Mahabali Hanuman, Ganga, and Kabhi Kabhie Ittefaq Se.
