Athidi set to overtake Pokiri

Athidi is all set break the record set by Prince Mahesh Babu"s last hit Pokiri. Pokiri, Mahesh Babu"s last hit grossed over 66 crore at the Box Office. It got both the director and Mahesh Babu accolades at the last National Film Awards. It seems like the film will turn out be another Pokkiri after grossing 16 crore in only four days. Unlike Pokkiri, the film has been a success right from the first screening.

Athidi director Surender Reddy now wants to turn his attention to Bollywood. The director is now keen on directing Hindi films. His latest film Athidi with Mahesh Babu in the lead has done well. This is his third film. His first two were Athanokkade and Ashok. But before he makes the movie to Bollywood he wants to first do another Telugu film. In his plans also feature, a Hollywoodesque film with Mahesh Babu.

Pokiri turned around Puri Jagannath"s career giving him success after three flops. Now Athidi has even given director Surender Reddy a push start and he is making good use of it.
