SS Rajamouli Denies Approaching Pranitha For Baahubali

Of late, it was being rumoured that the makers of Telugu movie Baahubali had planned to rope in actress Pranitha Subhash for the female lead opposite Rebel Star Prabhas in their much-hyped period drama. But filmmaker SS Rajamouli, who is directing the film, has slammed the reports stating that they have not approached the actress for the film and the reports about her casting are just rumours.

On Saturday, the production team ruled out the reports about Pranitha's casting on the official Twitter page of the film Baahubali. Later, director SS Rajamouli, who was surprised to see the reports, retweeted their post. The comment read, "We haven't approached Ms. Praneetha for Baahubali. It is just a rumour." Meanwhile, Pranitha is quite tight lipped about the reports.

Pranitha, who made her acting debut in Tollywood with Em Pillo Em Pillado, has scored a Blockbuster with Power Star Pawan Kalyan's Attarintiki Daredi, which has been directed by Trivikram Srinivas. The huge success of the movie has flooded the actress with several offers in Telugu film industry, but she has been careful in signing any new projects. She has recently signed to star alongside young tiger Junior NTR in director Santosh Srinivas' upcoming Telugu film Rabhasa.
