The recent episode of Karthika Deepam 2 begins with the emotional conversation between Dasharatha, who is discovered by Karthik and Deepa in a deeply shattered state. Dasharatha cries alone, as he is unable to witness Sumitra's pain. The bitter truth that he has to give up Deepa's unborn child to save Sumitra's life troubles him. Karthika and Deepa who comes there, are shocked to see his state. I had found my daughter, and on the other hand, I had many dreams that I would have a granddaughter through that daughter. I wanted to correct the mistakes I had made as a father with my daughter, and with my granddaughter, Dasharatha says.

Deepa pacifys Dasharatha, saying, Father.. you gave birth to me. Not everyone gets the opportunity to repay their parents' debt. This child will go from me to my mother's life. Deepa says that if my mother lives through my child, it is a great honor that my child gives me. Dasharatha raises his hand to praise his daughter's greatness.
