Marakkar Arabikadalinte Simham

Marakkar: Lion of the Arabian Sea might have been  Mohanlal's most ambitious project but it still is one of the flop movies ever in Bollywood. Made with a budget of 100 crores, the film also starring Mohanlal collected just 39.72 Crore at the box-office. Written and directed by Priyadarshan, Marakkar narrates the story of Kunjali Marakkar, the fourth and the last of the Malayali naval leaders deployed by the Samoothiri of Calicut to fight in the war against the Portuguese in the 16th century. Apart from Mohanlal' the film also starred Prabhu, Suneil Shetty, Manju Warrier, Arjun Sarja, Mukesh and Keerthy Suresh in pivotal roles.

Iyobinte Pusthakam

As per reports, Fahadh Faasil's period-action drama failed to recover its budget of Rs 40 crore . The movie is an adaptation of William Shakespeare's Macbeth. Released in 2014, Iyobinte Pusthakam is helmed by Amal Neerad. The film stars fahadh Faasil, Isha Sharvani, Jayasurya, Lal, Padmapriya, Reenu Mathews and Lena in the lead roles.
