Romancham is one of the best humorous thriller movies made in Malayalam in recent years. Directed by Jithu Madhavan and produced by John Paul George and Girish Gangadharan , the story of the movie centers on a group of friends who resided in a leased apartment in the city. When two strangers enter their lives, they are already having trouble getting more. But the things start to change when one of them decides to use the Ouija board, and what occurs next influences the rest of the narrative. The film was released in theaters and declared a block-buster hit at the box-office. As per the reports, the film joined Rs 50 crore club 23 days after its release.

It tells the story of a young man named Dhavan Vinu, who lives in a village called 'Anathadam'. His sister's wedding was already scheduled, and he had some bottles of Dhavan on hand to meet the demands of his inebriated friends. Sadly, the marriage never happened, and lockdown was implemented that same day. The movie shows the residents' struggles to get the bottle from Vinu, who was the only supplier of alcohol for the entire hamlet. Corona Dhavan is the directorial debut of C.C Nithin.
