War 2 Story
War 2 is a Bollywood action-drama film, sequel to War. Hrithik Roshan, John Abraham, and Jr. Ntr have been announced as the leads. Ayan Mukerji will direct the project, and Aditya Chopra will produce it under his own production company, Yash Raj Films. This film marks the Bollywood debut for Jr. Ntr.
Film Production
Production planned to distribute this movie at the end of this year, 2023, shortly after Tiger 3 came out. The script was already written by Aditya Chopra and Shridhar Raghavan.
Plot
Former RAW agent Kabir (Hrithik Roshan) goes undercover to take down a global syndicate, Kali, but is framed as a traitor. His former friend Vikram (Jr. NTR) is sent to hunt him down, leading to shocking revelations that Defense Minister Sarang (Varun Badola) is the real culprit. After reconciling, Kabir and Vikram expose the truth, with Kabir faking his death to continue his mission. The film ends with Kabir starting a new life and a post-credit scene featuring Bobby Deol hinting at future spy universe films.
Release Date
The most anticipated sequel, War, was released in theatres on August 14, 2025.
