Aanand L Rai

Aanand L Rai was born on 28 June 1971 in Delhi, India. He grew up in a middle-class family with roots tracing back to the post-Partition era. Before entering films, he initially followed a conventional career path but later moved to Mumbai, driven by his interest in storytelling and direction.

Early Career

Rai began his career by assisting his elder brother, Ravi Rai, a well-known television director. This exposure helped him understand the creative and technical side of filmmaking.
