K. Subash worked in Indian film industry as motion picture director and as screenwriter who worked in Tamil and Hindi movies. Subash began his vocation as a right hand to Mani Ratnam in Nayagan. He made his directorial make a big appearance with Kaliyugam with Prabhu. His second film Satriyan featuring Vijayakanth was a blockbuster. Subash made Ayul Kaidhi, Vaakumoolam and Uthama Purushan. He also coordinated the movie Pavithra with Ajith Kumar. He coordinated another police show Abhimanyu with Parthiban in lead part. After a small gap he directed Ninaivirukkum Varai and Eazhaiyin Sirippil with Prabhu Deva. In 2000, he had arranged a film featuring entertainer Vivek in a lead part titled Enakkenna Korachal?, however the film never appeared. Later he directed '123' with Prabhu Deva and his siblings which was Subash's last directorial in Tamil. He changed Telugu film Khadgam as Insan in Hindi with group star cast highlighting Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgan. The film fizzled at film industry and Subash picked against coordinating movies and rather gave screenplay to Hindi film Sunday. Subhash has filled in as the central partner to Bollywood executive Raj Kumar Santoshi in many movies. Subhash had given the story to Shahrukh Khan starrer Chennai Express. Death Legendary director K Subhash died on 23rd Nov, 2016.
