Madhu Mohan Biography

Madhu Mohan is a prominent Indian actor who works primarily in the Malayalam and Tamil television industries. He has over 25 years of experience as a director, producer, and actor. In addition to his work in the entertainment sector, he is a successful entrepreneur and owner of a technology company. He launched his television career in 1997 by creating "Manasi," the very first Malayalam television long-form series, which ran for 240 episodes over three straight years and aired twice weekly on Doordarshan.

He made his television debut in Tamil with the 260-episode regular soaps "Pennurimai" and "Raagasudha" on DD Podhigai. He has an unrivaled team of writers and technicians who work for him throughout the year. For Amritha TV, he also created the classical mythology program "Krishna Kripa Sagaram." Even after branching out into production and direction, he never lost his passion for acting. His renowned films include "Jwalanam" from 1991 and "Mazhayethum Munpe" from 1995, in which he co-starred with Mammootty, Shobana, and Annie as Dr. Issac. Ramakrishna Paramahamsar, a Hindi movie, is another one of his productions.

Nearly all of the short stories by M.T. Vasudevan Nair, Jnanpith, and Padma Bhushan, all of whom have won awards for their Malayalam fiction, have been serialized by him. The rights to serialize the majority of the other novelistic creations of other well-known Malayalam authors are also held by his production houses. He is currently active in the Tamil television sector, acting in and producing serials in the language. His top productions include "Ilavarasi," and "Aval." He performs in about 2,640 Malayalam and 1590 Tamil serials as a lead actor. After getting married to M.G.R.'s daughter, he served as a trustee for the Dr. MGR Memorial Educational Trust and the representative for MGR Elementary School.
