Adrishya Jalakangal Story
Adrishya Jalakangal is a Malayalam movie written and directed by Dr. Biju. The film features Tovino Thomas and Nimisha Sajayan in significant roles.
The film is produced by Radhika Lavu jointly with Y.Ravi Shankar and Naveen Yerneni, under the banner of Ellanar Films, Tovino Thomas Productions, and Mythri Movie Makers. It also marks the reunion of actor Tovino Thomas with co-star Nimisha Sajayan, after four years. Previously they worked together for the movie Oru Kuprasidha Payyan. The music for the movie was composed by Grammy award-winner Rickey Kej. The cinematography was handled by Yedhu Radhakrishnan and the editing was done by Davis Manuel.
Movie Plot
It narrates the tale of a young individual who serves as a symbol for the countless individuals we encounter in our everyday existence. It is a film against war, characterized by its intricate structure and surrealistic approach. The film also focuses on the horrors, futility, and the human cost of war, aiming to raise awareness about the brutality and senselessness of armed conflicts.
Release Date
Adrishya Jalakangal was released in theaters on November 24, 2023. In addition, the film will be screened at the Tallinn Black Nights International Film Festival, in November 2023.
