Christy Story

Christy is a Malayalam romantic- drama directed by debutant Albin Henry. The film stars Malavika Mohanan and Mathew Thomas in the lead roles.

The film tells the story of a teenage boy falling in love with an older woman. Billed as a romantic movie, it marks actress Malavika Mohanan's second debut in Malayalam cinema. The story of the film is written by director himself while screenplay is penned by renowned Malayalam authors Benyamin and G Indugopan.

Starring Malavika Mohanan and Mathew Thomas in significant roles, the film makers dropped the first teaser of the film on Jan 28. It grabbed eyeballs of many movies buffs around us. Later, on Feb 10, the much-awaited trailer was launched by actors Vijay Sethupathi, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Tovino Thomas, and Katrina Kaif. The trailer shows a glimpse of romance between Malavika Mohanan and Mathew Joy. It also beautifully portrays rural village condition and their genuine-daily problems. Apart from Mathew Joy the film also features Rajesh Madhavan, Vineeth Viswam, Veena Nair, and Muthumani in pivotal roles.

The film is produced by Sajai Sebastian and Kannan Satheesan under the banner of Rocky Mountain Cinemas. Govind Vasantha composed music for the film. The cinematography is handled by Anend C Chandran while Manu Antony is in charge of editing.
