Nagendran’s Honeymoons Story

Nagendran’s Honeymoons is a Malayalam comedy web series directed by Nithin Renji Panicker, featuring a talented cast including Suraj Venjaramoodu, Grace Antony, Kani Kusruthi, Shwetha Menon, Alphy Panjikaran, and Niranjana Anoop in leading roles.

Originally titled Madhuvidhu, the series has been renamed Nagendran’s Honeymoons. Written and produced by Nithin Renji Panicker, this series is the fourth Malayalam web series to debut on Disney+ Hotstar, following Kerala Crime Files, Master Peace, and Perilloor Premier League. The ensemble cast also features Ramesh Pisharody, Kalabhavan Shajohn, Janardhanan, and Prasanth Alexander in significant roles.

On the technical side, the series boasts cinematography by Nikhil S. Praveen, editing by Mansoor Muthutty, and a musical score composed by Ranjin Raj.


Movie Plot

Billed as a comedy-drama, Nagendran’s Honeymoons tells the story of Nagendran, a laid-back young man dreaming of a better life in the Gulf. To finance his journey, he devises a plan to marry multiple women, each bringing a dowry to fund his trip. However, his scheme spirals into a series of comical and unforeseen complications.

The series humorously explores the chaotic situations that arise from his unconventional approach to achieving his dreams. As Nagendran juggles multiple marriages, he encounters a host of quirky characters and faces increasingly tricky predicaments. From dealing with the suspicious families of his brides to managing the logistics of multiple marriages, Nagendran’s life becomes a whirlwind of hilarity and confusion.

Release Date

Nagendran’s Honeymoons started streaming on Disney+ Hotstar on July 19, 2024. It is currently available in seven languages, including Malayalam, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Bengali, and Marathi.
