Salute Story

Salute is a 2022 Malayalam drama movie  directed by Rosshan Andrrews and written by Bobby-Sanjay. Salute stars   Dulquer Salmaan and Diana Penty in the lead roles. The movie also features Manoj K Jayan, Lakshmi Gopalaswami, Saniya Iyappan, Deepak Parambol, and others in the key roles. The movie depicts the story of Aravind Karunakaran, who is on a mission to crack the long standing cold case

Salute is produced by Dulquer Salmaan itself under the banner Wayfarer Films. The movie is releasing directly on SonyLiv on March 18th.

Aravind Karunakaran (Dulquer Salmaan) is a young and intelligent police officer who joins the force and works under his elder brother and senior officer Ajith Karunakaran (Manoj K Jayan). However, the investigation of a murder case changes the equation between the brothers, and this eventually leads to Aravind's temporary exit from the police force. But, he continues the investigation on his own. How this case affects Aravind's life and career and where it leads him, forms the crux of Salute.
