Demonte Colony 3 Story

Demonte Colony 3, aka titled Demonte Colony III: The End Is Too Far, is an upcoming Tamil supernatural horror thriller that marks the third chapter in the popular Demonte Colony franchise. Written and directed by R. Ajay Gnanamuthu, the film is produced by Passion Studios, Dangal TV, RDC Media, and Gnanamuthu Pattarai.

The film features Arulnithi and Priya Bhavani Shankar in the lead roles, with Meenakshi Govindarajan, Archana Ravichandran, and Muthukumar reprising their characters from the earlier installments. Principal photography began in July 2025 in Chennai. Musical score is composed by Sam C. S., while Sivakumar Vijayan handles cinematography and Kumaresh D oversees editing.

Plot

Continuing the chilling narrative from the second part, the story explores the mysterious “dual bond” between twin brothers Srini and Raghu, whose lives are cosmically intertwined. The film dives deeper into the origin of the Demonte curse and the dark secrets surrounding the haunted mansion.

A new teaser titled “The Librarian Arrives” was released on March 16, 2026, teasing an important development in the upcoming chapter of the franchise. The makers have announced that the identity of the mysterious “Librarian,” a key character in the third installment, will be officially revealed on March 17, 2026, at 5:01 PM. According to the update, the Librarian is the guardian of a cursed book capable of causing death, making the character central to the story as the protagonists set out on a dangerous mission to track down the book.
