Kalavani 2 is a Tamil comedy romance movie directed by Sargunam. The movie is a sequel to Kalavani (2010) written by R Sargunam. The second part of the movie has Vimal and Oviya Helen in the lead roles. The movie bankrolled by Sargunam, under his home banner 'Varmans Productions'. The music for the movie composed Mani Amuthavan.
Arikki played by Vemal, he continues his fraudulent with his friend Vicky (R.J. Vignesh) in his village. The Kalavani plans to file a nomination for Panchayat election, on another side, his uncle also files nomination for election. Arikki seeks Panchayat (Ganja Karuppu) to finance for his plan. Did he gets the vote from public and he handles the situation is the rest of the story to be watched on the big screen.
