Sarpatta Story
Sarpatta Parambarai is a Tamil sports drama movie directed by Pa. Ranjith and produced by Ranjith's Neelam Productions and K9 Studios. The movie stars Arya, Dushara Vijayan, Anupama Kumar, and Santosh Pratap, and the music is scored by Santhosh Narayanan.
Plot
The movie Sarpatta showcases the boxing culture of the 1980s and revolves around a clash between two clans namely Idiyappa Parambarai and Sarpatta Parambarai in North Chennai. Arya played the role of Kabilan, Santhosh Prathap portray a pivotal role in the movie.
Release
The entire shooting of the film was completed on 14 December 2020. Sarpatta Parambarai was initially scheduled for theatrical release but was later decided for a direct-to-digital release through Amazon Prime Video, and movie released on July 22, 2021.
