Detailed Story Of Uriyadi
Uriyadi is a brutal political film written, directed and produced by first timer Vijay Kumar, who interestingly plays one of the main roles in the film and has also provided the background score. Leading director Nalan Kumarasamy is involved in the film as a co-producer.
Uriyadi is set in 1999 and movie talks about a group of impressionable and aggressive final year engineering students, in a college in the outskirts of Trichy. They are hostelers and spend most of their time boozing, smoking and whiling away their time.
On the other side, the collage has a group of caste-obsessed politicians who look to manipulate their way to a position of power in the state. They play the caste card prominently and are very sensitive about this. The rest of the story deals with brutal politic to be watched in big screen.
